Express Your Health and discover the power of creativity
It’s healthy to open up about health, but finding the right words isn’t always easy. Research shows creative activities like art can help people process experiences, while also supporting mental and physical health.
Whether you doodle, paint, sculpt or even knit, share your health story now.

“Sharing through art helps us feel less isolated, more connected and in the case of health, can help empower people to access the care they might need”

Engaging in art, regardless of skill level or experience, has been shown to lower people's levels of cortisol, the stress hormone.

The Project
Meet the storytellers
We invited over 20 people from around the world to share their health stories. Their works, inspired by everything from fertility to diabetes, show the power of opening up.

Rebuild and recover
About
Tom Daley is a British Olympic gold medallist and diver based in LA, known for his sporting success, TV appearances, and passion for knitting.
Health Story
“Diving has always come with injury challenges, and even when things feel on track, setbacks can quickly appear and make everything feel like it’s unravelling. My support team plays a vital role in helping me recover physically and return to the pool. Outside sport, I use knitting and crochet daily for mental wellbeing. They offer mindfulness, stillness, and calm, helping me reset and get the best out of each day.”
Artwork
“Art is a way to express things that words can’t. It allows you to share without having to over-explain, leaving it open to interpretation by others. I think that carries its own kind of magic.”
